Japan: Robotics Lab Creates “Living Tattoos” with Moving Parts

Tokyo researchers have unveiled a biomechanical tattoo system where robotic nanofilaments are embedded under the skin, causing tattoos to subtly move.
A koi fish tattoo can appear to “swim,” and a cherry blossom tattoo can “bloom” as the wearer flexes. The technology is experimental but already attracting attention from both futurists and body-art enthusiasts.
