US Creates “Tattooed Organ Monitors” for Health Diagnostics

At Johns Hopkins University, biomedical engineers designed tattoos that act as internal organ health trackers. Pigments infused with biosensors monitor liver, kidney, and lung function, changing shades when organ stress is detected.
Doctors say this could replace invasive biopsies in the future, offering real-time diagnostics while doubling as body art.
