Tokyo Studios Debut “Breathing Tattoos” with Motion Effects

Japanese engineers and artists have unveiled motion-reactive tattoos that expand and contract with breathing. A koi fish tattoo “swims” across the skin as the chest rises and falls.

Tattooist Kenji Sato said: “It makes the body itself part of the artwork’s animation.”
