Germany’s Fraunhofer Institute has developed synthetic tattoo skins with realistic texture, blood simulation, and healing reactions for training artists. This reduces the risk of beginners practicing on humans.
Trainer Lukas Müller said: “Apprentices can now perfect shading and linework before ever touching real skin.”
