Mexico City Schools Open First Tattooing Academy for Teens

Mexico has launched the world’s first tattoo apprenticeship school for high school students, offering safe training in art, hygiene, and digital design. The move aims to elevate tattooing into a professional and regulated career.

Tattoo student Valeria Ortiz, 16, said: “I’ve always sketched tattoos on paper — now I’m learning to make them on real skin.”
