Comedian and actor Pete Davidson has long been known for his heavily tattooed body — an eclectic mix of personal jokes, relationship tributes, and impulsive artwork. At one point, he had more than 200 tattoos. But over the past two years, Davidson has been undergoing a radical transformation: laser removal of nearly all his ink.
New shirtless paparazzi photos reveal smooth patches of skin where once chaotic designs overlapped. Davidson himself has admitted the decision was practical: long makeup hours on movie sets made covering his ink exhausting. However, friends close to him say it’s also part of a larger journey into sobriety and mental health healing.
Interestingly, he has chosen to preserve a handful of tattoos, including a portrait of Hillary Clinton, whom he calls “one of his heroes.” Fans are divided: some see the removal as a sign of maturity, while others lament the loss of his chaotic, authentic self.
