The tattoo industry is going green. Studios across the UK are adopting vegan, eco-friendly inks made from plant-based pigments instead of heavy metals. These inks not only reduce environmental harm but also promote faster healing.
Tattoo artist Liam O’Connor, who runs a sustainable studio in Manchester, says clients are increasingly asking about “green tattoos.” “People want art on their body that doesn’t harm animals or the planet,” he noted.
Industry analysts predict that eco-friendly inks could become the new standard within a decade, reshaping the global tattoo market.
