During the International Day of Peace address at the UN, President Reed lifted his cuff to reveal a symbolic tattoo—a Yggdrasil-inspired world tree, combining Norse and Indigenous symbolism. Its roots represented ancestral wisdom, while the branches symbolized global unity.

> “Our roots may differ,” said Reed, “but we all branch toward the same sky.”
Designed by a collaborative of global artists, the ink was meant to show America’s commitment to peaceful coexistence, environmental protection, and cultural diplomacy.
Reactions from Abroad:
The EU called the move “refreshingly symbolic diplomacy.”
Brazil’s Minister of Culture invited Reed to their heritage summit.
The Dalai Lama commented: “The gesture speaks louder than any treaty.”
