The Texas Longhorns have secured a commitment from former USC Trojans wide receiver Kohen Brown, bolstering their 2026 recruiting class. Brown, a three-star prospect from Waxahachie High School in Texas, initially committed to USC but decommitted in May 2025. Standing at 6-foot-2 and weighing 205 pounds, Brown is known for his speed, boasting a 10.69-second 100-meter dash time. In the 2024 season, he recorded 1,084 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns, ranking 72nd in Texas and 84th nationally among wide receivers.

Brown’s commitment adds to Texas’s momentum in the 2026 class, which now includes 11 commitments and is ranked 20th nationally. His decision also attracted attention from top prospect Felix Ojo, the No. 1 player in Texas. With a strong recruiting class shaping up, the Longhorns are poised to continue their success on the field in the coming years.
