Venice Biennale Features Tattoos as Fine Art Installations

For the first time in its history, the Venice Biennale has dedicated a pavilion to tattoo art. Renowned artists from across Europe showcased tattooed skin as living canvases, with participants volunteering to be part of ongoing exhibitions.

Critics described it as a radical step: “Tattooing has entered the highest echelon of fine art.” Visitors could witness live tattooing alongside multimedia installations celebrating body ink’s cultural depth.
