NASA Astronaut Returns With First-Ever Tattoo From Space

Houston, USA – September 2025
Astronaut Dr. Aiden Clarke has made history by becoming the first human to receive a tattoo in orbit aboard the International Space Station. Using a specialized zero-gravity tattooing device designed by engineers at MIT, Clarke inked a minimalist design of Earth from space on his wrist.

NASA confirmed the tattoo was carried out safely under sterile conditions, marking a breakthrough in medical and artistic procedures in space. Clarke described it as “a reminder that no matter how far we go, home is always with us.”
