The city of Manchester has rolled out a program offering free tattoo removal for residents with extremist or gang-related tattoos.
The initiative aims to help individuals reintegrate into society by erasing marks of past violence or hatred. Social workers report that many ex-gang members see it as a second chance at life.
Funding comes from both local government and charities tackling youth crime.
