Singapore: Biometric Tattoos Tested for Border Security

Singapore’s immigration authorities are piloting biometric tattoos as a new form of identity verification.
The tattoos use invisible ink that glows under scanners, storing unique data like fingerprints and ID numbers. Authorities say it could speed up border crossings and prevent identity fraud.
Civil liberties groups, however, warn this blurs the line between body autonomy and surveillance.
