In Rio, engineers fused micro-projectors with tattoo pigments, enabling tattoos to project short images or patterns onto nearby surfaces. At Carnival, dancers project glowing feathers, masks, and animals from their tattoos, turning parades into a hybrid of dance and holographic light shows.
