Toronto recently welcomed thousands of tattoo enthusiasts to an international expo where European folk art met modern tattooing. Popular designs included Polish floral patterns, Nordic animal motifs, and Eastern European embroidery-inspired linework.
Artists from the US and UK participated, bringing with them their own takes on Celtic and Gothic art, merging traditions from both continents into fresh, contemporary tattoo work.
