In Egypt, schools are introducing lessons on the country’s ancient tattoo practices, some of which date back over 3,000 years. Students learn how tattoos were used in rituals, medicine, and as symbols of spirituality in ancient communities.
Health officials are also involved, teaching modern safety practices and warning about the dangers of unregulated tattooing. Temporary tattoos inspired by ancient Egyptian symbols are being used in classrooms to make learning interactive.
