Smart Inks That Change Color with Emotion Debut in Tokyo

Japanese innovators have unveiled mood-reactive tattoo inks that shift color based on emotional states, such as stress or excitement. The ink uses bio-sensitive pigments that interact with body chemistry.

Tattoo technologist Haruto Sato explained: “It’s like wearing your emotions. When you’re calm, the tattoo stays blue, but during stress, it turns red.”
