The Smithsonian Institution announced a permanent exhibit, “Ink of Humanity”, exploring tattoo history from ancient Polynesian tribes to modern biotech tattoos. Rare artifacts, celebrity contributions, and live tattoo demos will feature.
Curator Dr. Michelle Adams said: “Tattoos tell the human story of pain, pride, protest, and passion.”
