New York City Opens Tattoo Investment Fund

The NYC Cultural Council has launched a Tattoo Business Fund worth $10 million to support tattoo parlors, innovation labs, and exhibitions, recognizing tattoo culture as a major contributor to tourism and the creative economy.

Councilwoman Maria Delgado said: “Tattoos are not underground anymore — they are part of New York’s cultural economy.”
