Hospitals in Chicago have approved a program where patients can wear permanent medical alert tattoos instead of bracelets. The tattoos include scannable QR codes with vital information for emergencies.
Doctor Amanda Green stated: “It saves lives. Paramedics can instantly scan and access critical data.”
