Scientists in Germany are developing “smart tattoos” that can monitor blood sugar, hydration, and stress levels in real time.
These tattoos use biochemical inks that change color depending on health indicators. For example, a diabetic patient’s tattoo can shift hues if blood sugar spikes.
Professor Klaus Meier, lead researcher at the Max Planck Institute, stated: “We are merging art and science. A tattoo can now save lives.”
