Tattoo regret may soon be a thing of the past. Studios in Los Angeles are adopting virtual reality (VR) preview systems, where clients can see their chosen tattoo projected on their body in real time before committing.
The VR headset allows wearers to “walk around” their design, check how it looks from different angles, and even adjust placement or size instantly. “It gives clients confidence—they know exactly what they’ll get,” said VR tattoo pioneer Jorge Morales.
Industry insiders say VR previews could become as common as stencil placements within five years.
