England football star Marcus Rashford has announced a new literacy campaign aimed at tackling educational inequality in the UK. Building on his previous efforts to combat child food poverty, Rashford’s latest initiative seeks to provide books, digital resources, and literacy programs to schools in disadvantaged communities.
Rashford, who grew up in Manchester, has often spoken about the importance of education and access to opportunities. The campaign will partner with libraries, publishers, and educators to ensure children receive support both in and out of the classroom. Marcus emphasized the connection between literacy and lifelong success, stating, “Reading opens doors to the world—every child deserves that chance.”
