Tattoo therapy is gaining traction among U.S. veterans dealing with PTSD. Many are using memorial tattoos and therapeutic body art to process trauma and reclaim their identity. The American Psychological Association is currently funding studies into tattoo therapy as a valid supplemental mental health tool.
