Four-star athlete Legend Bey committed to Tennessee football over a top group including Duke, Texas A&M and West Virginia Saturday night. Bey’s commitment marks the Vols’ fourth in the last two days after landing just two commits in the previous four months.

Bey ranks as a three-star recruit and the No. 451 player in the country according to the 247sports composite rankings. A Forney native, Bey also ranks as the No. 61 player in the state of Texas and the No. 28 athlete in the 2026 recruiting cycle.
The On3 industry rankings are higher on the Texas athlete, ranking him a four-star recruit and the No. 301 player in the 2026 recruiting cycle. On3’s own rankings have Bey as the No. 299 player in the country.
Bey committed to Tennessee after taking official visits to West Virginia, Duke, Tennessee and Texas A&M over the last few months.
The 5-foot-11, 175-pound prospect is a quarterback at North Forney High School where he completed 79-of-156 passes for 13 touchdowns and eight interceptions on his way to earning Texas District 10-6A Offensive MVP honors during his junior season. Bey did even more damage on the ground, rushing for 1,852 yards and 28 touchdowns.
While Bey is a quarterback who could play multiple positions at the collegiate level, Tennessee likes the borderline four-star recruit as a receiver. With his small size, Bey will likely play slot receiver at Tennessee
