
Tennessee football has made significant strides in the 2026 recruiting cycle, particularly on the offensive line. The Vols have secured commitments from several top-tier prospects, positioning themselves among the nation’s elite programs.

A notable addition is four-star offensive lineman Gabriel Osenda from Baylor High School in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Standing at 6-foot-8 and weighing 310 pounds, Osenda chose Tennessee over offers from Minnesota, Florida, and South Carolina. His commitment adds to the Vols’ impressive offensive line class, which also includes five-star tackle David Sanders Jr. Sanders, ranked as the No. 1 offensive tackle in the 2025 class, committed to Tennessee over Ohio State, Nebraska, and Georgia .
Additionally, Tennessee is actively pursuing other top offensive line prospects. Edward Baker, a 6-foot-5, 335-pound interior lineman from St. Frances Academy in Baltimore, Maryland, recently included Tennessee in his top five schools, alongside Ole Miss, NC State, Virginia, and Arkansas. Baker is currently on a five-school tour, with official visits to Arkansas, Virginia, Tennessee, NC State, and Ole Miss .
The Vols’ commitment to strengthening their offensive line is evident, with head coach Josh Heupel and offensive line coach Glen Elarbee leading the charge. Their efforts have positioned Tennessee as a formidable contender in the 2026 recruiting class, particularly in the trenches.
