BREAKING: 4-star CB Caden Harris flips commitment to Georgia football

In a significant development for Georgia football, four-star cornerback Caden Harris has officially flipped his commitment from Vanderbilt to the Bulldogs for the 2026 recruiting class. Harris, a 6-foot, 170-pound standout from Haywood High School in Brownsville, Tennessee, is currently ranked as the nation’s No. 11 cornerback and No. 3 overall recruit from Tennessee.

Harris initially committed to Vanderbilt in April 2025 but began to reconsider his decision after an official visit to Georgia in early June. During his visit, Harris met with head coach Kirby Smart and defensive backs coach Donte Williams, both of whom emphasized Georgia’s commitment to developing elite defensive talent. Harris expressed his admiration for the program, stating, “At Georgia, you can win in every aspect. That is what I love the most.”

The Bulldogs have been making significant strides on the recruiting trail, with Harris joining fellow four-star cornerback Justice Fitzpatrick in the 2026 class. This commitment adds to Georgia’s growing momentum, as the program continues to attract top-tier defensive prospects.

Harris’ decision underscores Georgia’s strong presence in the SEC and its ability to attract elite talent from across the region. With his combination of size, speed, and technical prowess, Harris is expected to make an immediate impact in Georgia’s secondary, contributing to the Bulldogs’ ongoing pursuit of national championships.
