A rising star in the 2026 recruiting class, four-star tight end Corbyn Fordham, has announced his commitment to the Ohio State Buckeyes. Standing 6-foot-4 and weighing 220 pounds, Fordham hails from Jacksonville, Florida, and chose Ohio State over prominent programs such as Georgia, Clemson, and Auburn. His decision was made public in a Thanksgiving Day YouTube video, where he expressed his excitement with the phrase, “I’m home, let’s do it BUCKEYE NATION!!

Fordham’s commitment adds to Ohio State’s growing momentum in the 2026 recruiting cycle. He joins a class that already includes four-star wide receivers Chris Henry Jr. and Jaeden Ricketts, as well as in-state offensive lineman Max Riley. His father, Todd Fordham, was an offensive tackle at Florida State and played nine seasons in the NFL with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Carolina Panthers, highlighting a strong football pedigree.
The Buckeyes’ tight end room is poised for future success, with Fordham’s addition complementing current talents like Gee Scott Jr. and Will Kacmarek. Head coach Ryan Day’s strategic recruitment continues to position Ohio State as a formidable force in college football.
