
Florida O-lineman commits to Arkansas football over other SEC offers
Tucker Young, a standout offensive lineman from Hot Springs Lakeside, has committed to the University of Arkansas for the Class of 2026. The 6-foot-5, 300-pound prospect made his pledge during the Razorbacks’ HogWild Hangout recruiting event on July 27, 2024. He had previously visited Fayetteville for the spring game in April and received an offer from Arkansas after attending a lineman camp in June.

Young’s commitment is significant, as he chose Arkansas over other SEC offers, including one from Memphis. He was recruited by offensive line coach Eric Mateos and special teams coordinator Scott Fountain, who is responsible for recruiting the Lakeside area. Young praised Coach Mateos, describing him as “the best lineman coach I’ve ever been around” and highlighted the strong connection he felt with the coaching staff.
