Georgia football enters the 2025 season with two clear areas of concern: offensive line consistency and a lack of explosive plays on defense. To return to national championship form, the Bulldogs will need key players to step up in these areas. Here are five who can make the biggest impact:

**1. Earnest Greene III (OL):** As the anchor of Georgia’s offensive line, Greene’s development is crucial. He must lead a unit that struggled with pass protection and run blocking consistency in 2024. His technique and leadership will set the tone for a revamped front.
**2. Michael Uini (OL):** A breakout candidate, Uini has the size and agility to solidify the right tackle spot. If he progresses quickly, it will help stabilize the offensive line and open up the run game, addressing one of the team’s primary issues.
**3. Malaki Starks (S):** One of the most dynamic defenders in college football, Starks is key to generating explosive plays on defense. His ability to read offenses, create turnovers, and cover elite receivers gives Georgia a game-changer in the secondary.
**4. Mykel Williams (DL):** Williams needs to consistently generate pressure up front. With his athleticism and strength, he can be the disruptive force that turns routine plays into sacks or hurried throws, directly solving the lack of defensive explosiveness.
**5. Raylen Wilson (LB):** Wilson’s speed and instincts allow him to cover sideline to sideline. If he continues to grow, he’ll help shore up the second level and provide versatility in blitz packages.
If these five players elevate their play, Georgia has a strong chance to correct its weaknesses and return to the College Football Play
off in 2025.
