
Dawn Staley, head coach of the South Carolina Gamecocks women’s basketball team, has been inducted into the FIBA Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2025. The enshrinement ceremony took place on May 17, 2025, in Bahrain, alongside the FIBA Mid-Term Congress .([about.fiba.basketball][1])

Staley’s induction recognizes her exceptional contributions to international basketball. As a player, she earned three Olympic gold medals (1996, 2000, 2004) and two FIBA Women’s World Cup titles (1998, 2002).
